LATIN MASSES ATLANTA DIOCESE-SPECIAL EVENTS




UPDATE: St Francis de Sales will also have a solemn high mass on Sunday October 20th at 11:30 am for the 25th anniversary of the founding of the FSSP

Here is a review of the special upcoming Latin masses in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, there are no known masses in the Savannah Diocese for All Saints and All Souls days. The photo above is Father Arelleno (of  EWTN fame) who will say the masses in Blairsville. (UP)DATE- There will be a requiem mass at the Savannah cathedral on All Souls Day at 9:30 am

October 4th  St Francis of Assisi, Blairsville, 9:00 pm and 1:00 am High Mass ( see details on below post)

October 8th St Francis de Sales Mableton 7:30 pm High Mass Anniversary of the Consecration of the church. (This is only the second church having been consecrated in the Archdiocese, the other being the Basilica of the Sacred Heart- having been consecrated a hundred years previously, both having used the same ritual books)

October 18th, St Francis de Sales, Mableton, High Mass 7:30 pm, 25th anniversary of the FSSP

October 27th , St Francis de Sales, Mableton, Solemn High Mass for the Feast of Christ the King, 11:30 am

November 1st, St Francis de Sales, Mableton, All Saints Day Solemn High Mass 7:30 pm

November 2nd, St Francis de Sales, Mableton, All Souls Day, Solemn High Requiem Mass with absolution at the catafalque  9:00 am There will also be 5 low masses said throughout the day.
