AUGUSTA LATIN MASS BIG SUCCESS

Father Firmin

CATHOLICS IN AUGUSTA REJOICE OVER THE RETURN OF TRADITION

Catholics in Augusta Georgia came together to celebrate the revival of the ancient Latin Mass on Sunday April 17th at St Marys on the Hill. Over 250 Faithfull turned out for a missa cantata celebrated by Father Firmin, Vicar General of the Diocese.  It was noticeable that there were young families with children in attendance. The community on short notice was able to form a schola to sing the mass and obtain altar servers to make this mass come off without a hitch. The next mass will be on July 17th at 2:00 pm. Una Voce wishes to publicly thank the pastor Father Gerald Ragan for generously allowing the kind use of his church for this mass, and for Father Firmin on traveling to Augusta to celebrate this mass. If you would like to get involved with the Latin Mass community or would like to help usher, assist with the reception, sing in the schola or serve the mass, or should you simply want more information please contact:

call or text 706-945-3354
Please make every effort to come to the next mass and bring a friend. If we are able to show there is significant interest in the Latin Mass, then this revival of tradition will expand. Directions are below:
