RORATE CAELI MASS

The only known Rorate Caeli  Mass in the state of Georgia will be at St Francis de Sales in Mableton on Saturday morning December 14th at 7:00 am. The church is lit only by candle light. This mass is said before sunrise and ends as the sun comes up.  During the mass sun light gradually fills the church to correspond to the prayers of the mass. This will be a high mass.

FSSP MEETS WITH CATHOLIC DADS

Father McCarthy FSSP, pastor of saint Francis de Sales will meet with Catholic Fathers from the Archdiocese of Atlanta, January 18th at his parish. Father will discuss how to be a better Father and Husband. The get together is from 5:30-9:00 pm. Please bring something to share and we will eat and fellowship together with Father and other Catholic Fathers. Father will give us a talk and there is time to ask questions and discuss what is on your mind. Please  come and invite any Catholic Father you know. Please RSVP to  Bob Babecka at mail@ThinkChastity.com.  You will then receive reminders of upcoming meetings, information related to the topics to be discussed, and notification if this meeting is rescheduled or cancelled. (you never know if there will be a sick call) This is a rare opportunity for men to be able to spend an evening with a FSSP priest.

LATIN MASS MACON



St Josephs in Macon has temporarily suspended its Latin Masses until the pastor returns from his travels. The parish will resume the monthly Latin Mass (2:00 pm 1st Sunday of each month) in January 2014

If you plan a visit to the parish of St Francis de Sales ,in Mableton,this month please note the schola will be on vacation and there will be no solemn nor high masses until Sunday November 24th. All masses until then will be low masses. If planning a long drive to visit the parish you may want to schedule your trip for when the high masses resume.
