PONTIFICAL MASS & CONFIRMATION AUGUSTA AREA

There will be a rare opportunity in the Augusta area for traditional Catholics to assist at a pontifical mass at the faldstool on Sunday December 13th at 6:00 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church located at 1209  Brushy Creek Road Taylors South Carolina  Telephone (864) 268-4352.  Bishop Joseph Perry ( auxiliary Bishop of Chicago)will celebrate mass and also administer the sacrament of confirmation. If you have children and want them confirmed here is a letter from Father Smith:

All baptized children and adults who habitually attend the Extraordinary Form and are of confirmation age, and have yet to be confirmed, are asked to register with Stephanie Lasitter, our Director of Confirmation Preparation, by 8 November 2015. If you have been preparing for Confirmation, we need to know what program you have been using, if you are in a homeschooling program.
If you are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Extraordinary Form, you will have to come and sit for the Confirmation Exam on 8 November at 5p in Croghan Hall. If your paperwork is complete, and your examination marks are accepted, you will be invited to an Afternoon of Recollection on 15 November 2015 to prepare spiritually for the Sacrament. This afternoon is obligatory for those who will be confirmed. The Mass will take place at 6p on 13 December 2015. You will need to gather in Croghan Hall at 4.30p on that day with your sponsor.
