Epiphany Eve Vespers & Blessing of Water

The only place in Georgia where Epiphany water will be blessed will be on Epiphany Eve, Thursday January 5th at approximately 5:00 pm. at St Francis de Sales in Mableton Georgia , Atlanta Diocese. The ancient blessing of Epiphany water is done during vespers on the eve of the great feast day. The blessing is long & complex and the water is very powerful. This water is used during the Epiphany Blessing of homes that begin the following day and throughout the octave. Arrive early if you want water blessed, and make sure it has your name on the container.

RORATE CAELI MASS ATLANTA DIOCESE

Rorate Caeli Mass


 The only known Rorate Caeli  Mass in the state of Georgia will be at St Francis de Sales in Mableton on Saturday morning December 10th at 7:00 am. The church is lit only by candle light. This mass is said before sunrise and ends as the sun comes up.  During the mass sun light gradually fills the church to correspond to the prayers of the mass. This will be a high mass.
