ATLANTA—An Atlanta area's group of young adults attached to the Latin Mass—called Juventutem Atlanta—gathered at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church yesterday to pray the Rosary and listen to a talk from their chaplain, after which they drove over to SunTrust Park for a tailgate-style picnic and to watch the Atlanta Braves play the San Francisco Giants. They car pooled to the stadium, where they saw the Braves win handily, 8-1. The group was nearly 30 young adults.
Upcoming Juventutem Atlanta activities include:
* Oct. 5 (First Saturday): meeting for the 7 am Mass at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, a quick breakfast (bring your own) at the church, then head to a construction site in Mableton to help on a Habitat for Humanity project.
* Nov. 5: meeting for the Rosary at 6:30 pm at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, then head to Kennesaw State College Music School for a choral concert.
