Elevation

Blessing before Gospel

The first solemn high mass celebrated in the Savannah Cathedral on the original high altar since 1966, took place this past Sunday for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Please thank Father McDonald, and all the other priests, and the schola, for taking time to do this for the Faithful Catholics of the Georgia coast. To see 60 more photos from the mass visit here: Here.
Also please make every effort to attend mass this Sunday at 1:00 pm (Gaudete Sunday). Father Heiser, OSB will celebrate a high mass and will bless sacramentals following the mass. Father will be utilizing the ancient Roman Ritual for these blessings (pre Vatican II Ritual Book) Please bring sacramentals to this mass to be blessed. A very rare opportunity.
