Southeastern US Latin Mass Conference

On the heels of the very successful Una Voce conference in Alabama, now follows a large conference for the entire southeast. This southeastern conference is sponsored by Una Voce Sarasota. Please spread the word!

Christ the King Chapel, the first and only FSSP Apostolate in Florida,
(www.christthekingsarasota.org/) will celebrate its First Anniversary over the weekend of April 16- 18, 2010. This weekend will also be used to host a Southeastern US Latin Mass Conference titled " Being a Traditional Catholic in 2010". All like-minded Traditional Catholics are welcome to attend but they must inform Una Voce Sarararsota in advance of their attendance . To RSVP your attendance please e mail Stan at Valerga@verizon.net".

A tentative program is as follows:

Friday, April 16 - Registration and Welcome in Church Hall followed by 6:30 PM Mass, a snack, then Compline.

Saturday, April 17 - 9 AM High Mass w/our excellent Gregorian Choir followed by daylong conference in Church Hall. Christ the King expects to have FSSP guest speakers such as Father Calvin Goodwin or Father Justin Nolan. Light buffet lunch will be provided by the Chapel and a dinner will take place at a nearby moderately price Amish restaurant.

Sunday, April 18 - Regularly scheduled Low Mass at 9 AM and High Mass at 1030 AM. Coffee and doughnuts - and a final chance to meet and talk with the FSSP Priests - takes place in the Church Hall after both Masses. This would end the formal conference in the very early afternoon.

Several Una Voce Leaders - as well as several Florida groups with a Traditional Latin Mass but not yet with an Una Voce Chapter - have already expressed keen interest in the weekend but we must set a April 11, 2010 deadline for firm attendance commitments. Any queries about local, convenient motels or other housekeeping questions are welcome. Sarasota Airport's symbol is SRQ.
