Below is an announcement we have been waiting to make for the last 14 years. The below announement is from a hard working group of traditional Catholics who have made things come together to bring the FSSP to the Savannah Diocese for a weekend. Please contact them immediately and offer any assistance you can. We must have a large crowd to come to this mass to show there is support for tradition in the Savannah Diocese. Spread the word and make arrangements to come and car pool with your friends. We need servers and singers so we can have a High Mass. If we do not support this then the lack of interest will be used against us in the future to suppress future Latin Masses.
THE LATIN MASS SOCIETY OF THE GOLDEN ISLES ON THE GA COAST WILL BE HAVING
TWO MASSES: A LOW MASS ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 20TH ( LOCATION AND TIME HAVE NOT BEEN SET) AND A SUNDAY MASS ( WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A SCHOLA FOR A HIGH MASS) AT 2 PM IN SAINT FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH IN DOWNTOWN BRUNSWICK GA ACROSS FROM HANOVER SQUARE WITH FATHER MATHEW MCCARTHY FSSP AS CELEBRANT. A NATIVE OF WIGAN ENGLAND, FATHER MCCARTHY WAS ORDAINED IN 2011AT THE PRIESTLY FRATERNITY OF ST PETER SEMINARY IN DENTON NB, AND IS NOW PASTOR OF ST FRANCIS DE SALES LATIN MASS COMMUNITY IN ALANTA GA.
