The only traditional Advent mission in the state of Georgia will take place the week of Sunday December 2nd 2018 at the parish of Saint Francis de Sales in Mableton Ga in the Atlanta Archdiocese. The preacher will be Father Jeffery Jambon of the Missionaries of St John the Baptist, which is a fairly new traditional order located in Kentucky. The Missionaries were founded by Father Shannon Collins, former EWTN personality and chaplain to Mother Angelicas monastery in Hanceville Alabama. For info on the Missionaries see: https://www.msjb.info/about-us/
Father Jambon will kick off the Advent Mission by initially preaching at the High Mass on Sunday December 2nd at 11:30 am, and continuing all week. This a rare opportunity to experience a traditional Advent mission, and most Catholics in this state have never had the opportunity to attend one before. Please spread the word and bring a friend with you.
