FSSP Priest Assignments Affect Georgia

It's that time of year when the FSSP move their priests around, and this year it affects our state. Father Cano FSSP, the assistant pastor at St Francis de Sales in the Atlanta Diocese will be leaving the end of June to take up his new assignement as pastor of St Micahels parish in the Diocese of Lincoln Nebraska. We wish him well in his new assignment as pastor. He will be replaced here by Father Thomas Fritschen FSSP who arrives this week. Thankfully the pastor of St Francis de Sales Father Mark Fischer is unaffectted and remains as pastor. When you visit St Francis de Sales make sure you say hello to the new priest, and welcome him down south.
