NEXT MASS IN AUGUSTA JULY 25TH 1:00 PM FOR THE 9TH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST (FEAST OF ST. JAMES THE GREAT AND ST CHRISTOPHER)

Sunday's Mass was a resounding success! Fr. Almeter's 1pm Extraordinary Form Mass was a beautiful one. The music was very well done, as always, by the choir. Many in attendance have commented that this Mass seemed to have an extraordinarily peaceful feeling about it. It was very well attended with nearly 200 earthly souls present, the highest number since the Solemn High Mass with Bp. Parkes back in March. Fr. Almeter expressed his own pleasure about Sunday's Mass and is excited to continue to offer the Extraordinary Form, potentially increasing the offerings in the near future. If you missed the Mass or would like to re-watch Father's homily, it is posted on Facebook.

While Jose Reyes-Ortiz, the wonderfully talented music director at Most Holy Trinity, was hard at work in the choir loft during Mass, his wife Gema captured some beautiful pictures of the Mass. Mark your calendars. The date for the June Latin Mass at Most Holy Trinity has been set! Many thanks to the FSSP for all of the help they have provided in reestablishing the Latin Mass in the Augusta Deanery. Still more thanks to Fr. Mariusz Fuks for inviting the FSSP to come and support us and for his willingness to foster the love of tradition and solemn, reverent liturgy at Most Holy Trinity. The Diocese of Savannah, the Deanery, and Most Holy Trinity are blessed by his efforts and his example as a priest.

On June 27th, Fr. Jacob Almeter will come to Most Holy Trinity to assume the role of Pastor. Fr. Almeter is a friend of the Latin Mass and of traditional liturgy, and he will continue the good work that has been started by saying the Latin Mass on his first weekend as Pastor! 

 

Please plan to come and be a part of this wonderful day as we move forward together as a community and to welcome Fr. Almeter, an Augusta native, back to Augusta!

CALLING ALL BOYS IN THE SAVANNAH DIOCESE-ALTAR BOY TRAINING CLASS

There will be an altar boy training class at Most Holy Trinity in Augusta at 10:00 am on June 19th 2021. This class is open to boys who have never served the traditional mass as well as seasoned altar servers. To be eligible to serve mass, the boy must have received First Holy Communion.

YOUNG ADULTS TO VISIT DENVER FOR NATIONAL JUVENTUTEM CONFERENCE

YOUNG ADULT TRADITIONAL CATHOLICS TO GO TO NATIONAL MEETING IN DENVER IN AUGUST OPEN TO ALL CATHOLICS AGES 18-35,MARRIED, SINGLE, RELIGIOUS

Members of Juventutem Atlanta will be traveling to Denver Colorado to the FSSP parish there for a nationwide meeting of young traditional Catholic adults aged 18-35.  The weekend is Thursday through Sunday August 12th-15th, 2021. There will be a cocktail party at a mansion, socials, talks, a procession with the Bishop of Denver, hikes, Solemn Masses, and a waltz, plus many more activities.
