NEXT MASS IN AUGUSTA JULY 25TH 1:00 PM FOR THE 9TH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST (FEAST OF ST. JAMES THE GREAT AND ST CHRISTOPHER)
Sunday's Mass was a resounding success! Fr. Almeter's 1pm Extraordinary Form Mass was a beautiful one. The music was very well done, as always, by the choir. Many in attendance have commented that this Mass seemed to have an extraordinarily peaceful feeling about it. It was very well attended with nearly 200 earthly souls present, the highest number since the Solemn High Mass with Bp. Parkes back in March. Fr. Almeter expressed his own pleasure about Sunday's Mass and is excited to continue to offer the Extraordinary Form, potentially increasing the offerings in the near future. While Jose Reyes-Ortiz, the wonderfully talented music director at Most Holy Trinity, was hard at work in the choir loft during Mass, his wife Gema captured some beautiful pictures of the Mass.
