IMPORTANT MEETING IN AUGUSTA SATURDAY BE THERE

FROM THE LATIN MASS COMMUNITY IN AUGUSTA THERE IS A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING TOMORROW PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND

Friends,

Today, Bp. Parkes issued new directives for the implementation of Traditionis Custodes in the Diocese of Savannah. If you have not read them yet, please do so here

As we expected, the results are a mixed bag for our community in Augusta. On the good side, we have been given permission to continue our once per month Latin Mass at Most Holy Trinity. Deo Gratias! While some of the implications for our community jump right off the document, others are more subtle and will take some time and collective effort to sort out.

To that end, we have arranged for a meeting that will be open to everyone in our traditional community to discuss this document and brainstorm ideas on how to chart a way forward given the new environment. No doubt, many of you have strong feelings about TC and the bishop's new directives. Bring these strong feelings with you and voice them to the community. The goal of this meeting, first and foremost, is to come together and open up the discussion as a community, so we hope many of you will join us. The more voices heard from, the better.

The meeting will take place THIS SATURDAY at 5pm in St. Francis Hall at Most Holy Trinity. Fr. Almeter may come over to the hall after he finishes with the 5pm Mass if you have questions for him specifically. If you have any questions beforehand or ideas for this meeting, please let us know.
